How do I apply for rebates?
When products eligible for an instant rebate are added to your cart, an “Apply Rebates” button will appear. Click “Apply Rebates” and complete the verification process. Your instant rebate will be automatically applied after verification.
Is everyone eligible for a rebate?
To be eligible for rebates, you must be a Columbia Gas of Ohio residential customer. We will verify your eligibility during the checkout process. There is a limit of two thermostats per residential account over a fifteen-year period and a limit of three showerheads and three faucet aerators per residential account over a five-year period.
How do I find out if I’m eligible for an instant rebate?
There are a few ways we can determine your eligibility:
- Enter your Columbia Gas of Ohio service address during the “Apply Rebates” process at check-out and click “Check Eligibility.”
- Enter your Columbia Gas of Ohio account number during the “Apply Rebates” process at check-out and click “Check Eligibility.”
Please note that you must agree to the Rebate Terms and Conditions to be eligible for instant rebates.
What are the terms and conditions for Columbia Gas of Ohio instant rebates?
Customers must have a residential account with Columbia Gas of Ohio and the device(s) that are being purchased must be installed at the service address/home served under this account. There is a limit of two thermostats per residential account over a fifteen-year period and a limit of three showerheads and three faucet aerators per residential account over a five-year period.
As part of the terms and conditions, customers also have to acknowledge that they are purchasing from Columbia Gas of Ohio’s trusted partner Simple Energy.

What payment methods are accepted on the Columbia Gas of Ohio Store?

Will Columbia Gas of Ohio install my thermostat?
Columbia Gas of Ohio does not offer installation services on smart thermostats purchased through the Columbia Gas of Ohio Store. Please be aware of the installation requirements for each thermostat before purchasing. To check installation compatibility, please review the following:

Does my smart thermostat need a C-wire?
Some thermostats require a C-wire to power the device. Depending on the thermostat you buy, you may or may not need a C-wire. Please check the product details of the thermostats you’re considering to find out if a C-wire is required.
If the smart thermostat you’re buying requires a C-wire and an adapter is not included, you can purchase one separately (search for “C-wire adapter”) or a contractor can help you install the device.
Make sure to check your current wiring before purchasing any thermostat and review the installation compatibility checks listed above.
